TODAYNEWS.ID – In celebration of International Migrants Day, Aidha today launched #BersamaBerdaya, a campaign designed to celebrate the journeys of Aidha’s Indonesian graduates and create a platform for them to share their narratives, up lift and inspire fellow Indonesian migrant domestic workers (MDWs) to achieve their financial and personal goals.
The initiative is delivered in partnership with Campaign for Good, whose community-vetting platform enables wider community engagement and visibility.
Indonesian MDWs often navigate challenges such as limited access to financial education, managing responsibilities back home, and planning for long-term goals. The #BersamaBerdaya campaign aims to empower participants with practical knowledge, supportive peer networks, and guided opportunities to share their experiences in a safe and encouraging environment.
Each selected Duta Berdaya (community empowerment ambassador) will receive up to SGD 2,500 in total support, comprising:
– up to an additional SGD 2,000 in grant support
– up to SGD 500, unlocked through verified supporter actions on the Campaign for Good platform
Participants will also receive training in impactful storytelling, and digital communication. These skills strengthen confidence and uplift their ability to inspire others in their community.
“At Aidha, we believe in the transformative power of financial education and personal development. #BersamaBerdaya brings forward the remarkable journeys of our Indonesian graduates, amplifying their voices to inspire and connect with the wider community,” said Jacqueline Loh, CEO of Aidha, Thursday (18/12/2025).
This campaign focuses on long-term empowerment through education, mentorship, and community support. Aidha remains committed to enabling women to build secure, informed, and independent futures, wherever their journeys may lead.
Through Campaign for Good’s platform, supporters can take part in simple, verified actions that unlock additional funding, expand visibility for each Duta Berdaya, and highlight the importance of financial literacy for migrant women. These actions ensure respectful and community-driven participation.
“Campaign for Good is honoured to support Aidha’s campaign,” said William Gondokusumo, CEO of Campaign for Good. “Our platform enables more people to engage meaningfully with why financial education matters and how supportive communities can strengthen each participant’s journey.”
